Materials

To be more sustainable here at Ouro, the materials we use for our 3D printed lamps and products are recyclable using a combination of recyclable PLA and PETG plastic filaments.

We use a combination of PETG and PLA for all our 3D printed products.
Recycled PLA (Polylactic acid)
  • Crafted from environmentally-friendly materials like cornstarch, sugar cane, cassava or corn-based, ensuring it is biodegradable and pre-recycled.
Recycled PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol)
  • Recycling through a chemical process restores PETG to its original form, ensuring eco-friendliness; however, improper disposal results in slow decomposition.
